Hacienda Teya, colonial city of izamal or the convent route: Acanceh, Tecoh, Telchaquillo, Tekit, Mama, Chumayel, Mani and Oxcutzcab with lunch in mani. Wednesdays show at olimpo cultural center at 9 p.m. Take a horse and buggy ride. Dzibilchaltum pyramids and native co'op next to churn in village. Beaches: Progreso, Chelem, Chicxulub, Telchac and X-Tampu ruins. Flamingo lookoub tower in Uaymitun. Evening: Free Serenate at Sta. Lucia Park, C. 60 by 55 - open- air concert featuring Yucatecan dress, dance, music and floklore, 9 p.m. Shopping, visit the native markets, pasaje picheta or the best in the city: "Casa de las Artesanias" with handcrafts from Yucatan made by Yucatecan artesans. Check out Merida's malls. Evening: University building on the comer of calle 60 and 57, 9 p.m. Lol Tun Caves and Puuc route: Kabah, Labna, Sayil, Xlapak, and Uxmal. Stop at hacienda Yaxcopoil visit their museum. See Indigenous Theater in Ticopo at 4 p.m.A MUST. Evening: 7 p.m. Free Noche Mexicana Paseo de Montejo & Calle 47. Free Heart of Merida Festival-Plaza & Calle 60, 8 p.m. - 1 a.m. Don't forget to viist the handcraft market "Lucas de Gálves", it has everything. Merida on Sunday, outdoor handcraft market and food festival in the main plaza, Hidalgo Park and Santa Lucia Park-streets are closed, live music 9 a.m.- 9 p.m.
